This drink is incredible - it's going to replace Manhattans for the summer. I thought the vermouth would be overpowering but the balance was actually quite good. I used Martin Miller gin and Carpano Dry vermouth.
Make sure you stir a good amount - the dilution does make this more enjoyable
Just made this (Bombay Sapphire, Dolin Dry) and it is really nice. I would make it for any fan of a Martini.
Delicious drink. Definitely stir well. The flavors will meld nicely.

First try at this one and it's quite nice. Used St. George Terroir Gin, which balanced the Benedictine nicely, though I'm looking forward to trying it with something a tad less forest-y.
