Your overall cocktail is only as good as its individual parts. That’s why I make grenadine syrup from scratch using Pom Wonderful and juice fresh pineapple (add fruit to blender with small quantities of water). This is an easy cocktail to assemble, the color is a lovely blushing pink, and the taste is delightful.

Trader Joe’s has a great not from concentrate pineapple juice, canned juice turns the drink muddy. Love this cocktail!

Great spring cooler, with enough rum to add a punch to it.
