This recipe obviously does not include egg white.

Adding an egg white would make this a Silver Fizz. Adding an egg yolk makes it a Golden Fizz. Ad adding a whole egg turns it into a Royal Fizz (which is delicious, btw). Cheers!

Where's the egg white?

I prefer the Ramos Gin Fizz ( a la The Dock in Tiburon, California). As noted but with a few drops of Orange Flower Water along with egg white to give it an amazing aromatic taste.

This is a quick, refreshing cocktail, but it is worth the extra effort if you find a recipe with egg white which adds a wonderful creaminess.

The Ramos Gin Fizz is an all time favorite, and while the steps and ingredients involved in making one properly are many it is well worth the time and effort. 1½ oz. gin 1 oz. simple syrup ½ oz. fresh lemon juice ½ oz. fresh lime juice 1 oz. fresh egg white 2 oz. heavy cream 3 dashes orange flower water Chilled club soda
