Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Pour the gin, lemon juice and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker, fill with ice, and shake vigorously. Strain into a 24-ounce glass filled with fresh ice, top with seltzer. Garnish with the orange wheel.

Sorry, but who has oranges around in the summertime, when peaches, plums and melons are in season? Could you suggest another garnish? For me, oranges=winter, not summer.

Excellent drink for citrus season! We substituted simple syrup with agave syrup (2 oz) and it was excellent!
