Preparation

  1. Step 1

    In mixing glass, using a spoon, crush 2 mint leaves in the simple syrup, and add gin, lime juice and pomegranate syrup.

  2. Step 2

    Pour into ice-filled shaker. Shake well, and strain into chilled cocktail glass. To garnish, float the 2 remaining mint leaves on surface of drink.

Tip
  • To make simple syrup, in small saucepan boil 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar, stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved and liquid is clear, about 5 minutes. Let cool before using. Store refrigerated for up to a week.
