Simple side dish but tasty. I used one pound of dried lima aka butter beans and two sprigs of fresh thyme since that what I had on hand. Lots of freshly ground black pepper is a good addition as well.

Well, I don't know as I would call this a recipe but the suggestion of using thyme as a flavoring is good, still really, really boring. Butter, or pork, and mashing the beans helps as well. For some reason I do like lima beans. Maybe succotash is the way to go :-)
