The sugar didn’t get dissolved. I might make a simple simple syrup next time by mixing 1tsp. Confectioner’s sugar with 1 tsp. Water.

I drank Vodka Gimlets for years but they were always made them with Rose's lime juice. Fresh lime juice and sugar is delicious, but not true to the original recipe; a very different taste.

Superfine sugar is the way to go here.

Why would you add sugar and not use Rose’s Lime Juice? I know, Roes’s is sweetened. Adding sugar is a terrible, terrible idea.
