Ingredients
Yield:1 drink
- 1lime, preferably Key lime, rinsed
- 2teaspoons sugar
- ½cup red wine, preferably merlot
- 2ounces (¼ cup) cachaça
Preparation
- Step 1
Cut a thin slice off top and bottom of lime. Quarter lime and cut out pithy white core. Place lime quarters in a cocktail shaker, add sugar and mash with a muddler.
- Step 2
Add 4 ice cubes and stir. Add wine and cachaça, shake and pour into an old-fashioned glass.
