Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Slice the baguettes lengthwise. Brush them with olive oil. Combine the garlic, parsley and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle mixture over the bread. Recombine the loaves and wrap in aluminum foil.

  2. Step 2

    Place the loaves over the grill and cook, turning occasionally, until well heated throughout, about 15 minutes.

Maybe my baguette was too large, but the oil mix didn't seem to really soak in and soften the bread much. I ended up adding a few pats of butter to the dry areas at the end, which was perfect. Bread cooled and hardened during dinner so, although it received good reviews, we couldn't finish it. I'll keep it wrapped and warm next time so it lasts longer.
