What is dry tonic water?
Dry tonic water has more quinine and less sweetness compared to a classic Indian Tonic Water.
I've been making this drink for years, enjoying as a non alcoholic cocktail. Using tonic as the default base and floating cold brew, left over cold coffee, herbal tea, or fruit juice you can find a wide variety of flavors that suit your tastes. Tonic adds a bite and character that mimics traditional cocktails.
We loved this for brunch! For those who wanted an alcoholic version, I added mezcal and orange bitters.
As a lover of tonic cocktails, cold brew coffee, and bitter flavors generally - this tastes bad!
What are some brands of dry tonic water? The only tonic water I can find by searching that has "dry" in its name is Canada Dry, which I'm guessing isn't what's recommended.
