Dark rum! Gosling's if possible. No diet anything.

White Rum, well brands work just as well as expensive. skip the lime juice and just use a wedge of lime. using diet tonic cuts the cals & carbs by 3/4, but more importantly, it makes the sweetness more subtle, the drink more refreshing.

Nothing as good as cutting carbs when drinking white rum. Always think healthy!

This combination was suggested to me about 30 years ago by a friend when he tasted my Barbancourt Special Reserve rum. I tried it out, adding a wedge of lime it seemed to call for. Since then, my favorite cocktail, though I mix it now with Barbancourt 5-star & diet tonic.

mount gay is the only proper rum for this. Flor de Cana is a good sub.

S’okay. Still, I prefer gin in my tonic and my rum in coke though.
