- 3ounces tequila
- Salt
- Lime wedge

Shake tequila with ice; strain into two shot glasses. Chase with a lick of salt and a wedge of lime.

Better to keep the tequila in the fridge and forgo the ice.
Ummm.... This is just a tequila shot. Definitely better to keep it in the fridge (or even the freezer!). Also, as everyone knows it is salt, shot, lime. None of this "chase with a lick of salt and a wedge of lime."
Personally I always chill my tequila and I prefer to chase it with a lick of Tabasco that I have dabbed on the same spot as one would put the salt. So no salt or lime and it's spicy deliciousness.
If one can’t figure out how to accomplish this without instructions then perhaps they don’t need to be drinking in the first place…
If you're going to chill tequila with ice (and not just pull a bottle out of the fridge/freezer) and there is no need to emulsify with other ingredients, shouldn't the liquor be stirred rather than shaken?
