Ingredients

  • 2slices raw, peeled ginger (about the size of a quarter)
  • 1bar spoon Morris Kitchen ginger syrup
  • Ginger beer (I like Gosling’s)
  • 3ounces rye
  • Orange peel twist to garnish

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Muddle one slice of ginger with syrup and a bit of ginger beer in the bottom of a highball glass. Fill glass with ice cubes.

  2. Step 2

    Add rye and stir with a bar spoon. Add ginger beer to fill.

  3. Step 3

    Run the other slice of ginger around the rim of the glass, then discard. Twist orange peel over drink to release oils, then drop into glass.
