  • ¾cup distilled white vinegar
  • ½cup beef or chicken stock
  • ½cup finely chopped onion
  • ½cup seeded minced jalapeno chilies
  • ½cup yellow mustard or Dijon-style mustard
  • ¼cup honey mustard or brown deli-style mustard
  • ¼cup light corn syrup (or to taste)
  • 2tablespoons molasses
  • 1teaspoon black pepper
  • ½teaspoon salt
  • ¼teaspoon cayenne pepper

    Combine all ingredients in saucepan, and bring to boil. Reduce heat, and simmer until thick and richly flavored, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste for seasoning, adding additional salt or corn syrup as desired. This sauce goes great with just about anything.
