Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Wash and dry chicken breasts.

  2. Step 2

    Wash and dry herbs, and measure out 1 tablespoon of each; finely chop garlic.

  3. Step 3

    Mix herbs, garlic and oil together in small bowl, and season with pepper.

  4. Step 4

    Dip the chicken breasts in the mixture, coating well on both sides.

  5. Step 5

    When it is time to cook the chicken, prepare stove-top grill and cook the chicken on both sides until it is well browned and cooked through, turning once or twice, about 10 minutes.

Two chicken breasts totaled 12 ounces, so I increased other ingredients proportionately. Also salted the chicken before dipping in the herb/garlic paste. Simple and very tasty recipe.

This was good! Cooked it on the gas grill with boneless, skinless thighs and breasts.. Flavorful and tender. Would probably increase the herbs or decrease the number of chicken pieces next time.
