    Scrub but do not peel cucumbers. Trim, and slice thinly.

  2. Step 2

    Wash, trim and slice scallion. Combine with vinegar, sugar and cucumber; stir to season cucumbers.

Just not enough marinade for the us much cucumbers. Not a lot of flavor.

Add a half teaspoon or more of sambal oelek, if you want spicy cucumbers.
