Ingredients
Yield:1 drink
- ½ounce simple syrup
- 1lemon wheel
- 2strawberries, halved
- 5ounces Champagne
Preparation
- Step 1
Pour syrup into wine glass, then gently muddle lemon wheel and one strawberry in bottom.
- Step 2
Fill glass halfway with crushed ice and add Champagne. Top off with more crushed ice and garnish with strawberry half.
Tip
- To make simple syrup, warm 1 cup sugar in 1 cup water in a saucepan over low heat until dissolved. Cool to room temperature before using. (There will be extra syrup; refrigerate if not using immediately.)
