    Place all of the ingredients except the sliced fig in the blender. Blend until frothy, about one minute. Pour into a glass, garnish with fig slices, and serve at once.

I had four fresh figs, large, no dates but used a large dollop of honey, OJ, an egg for breakfast protein, and a little bit if milk! Over ice, quite delicious! Looking forward to getting some dates…nice fir summer breakfast!

I carefully weighed me ingredients to reflect the exact recipe. But the ingredients barely covered the bottom of the blender and certainly didn’t froth. I added a few ounce of milk, and voila! A delicious drink!
