I have never heard of using heavy cream in this venerable New Orleans cocktail. Mint, Simple Syrup and Absinthe with crushed ice. that's how you get it at the Old Absinthe House... and it's how I made this drink in my book, Cannabis Cocktails- although I infused the Absinthe - in this case the fabulous Jade product from my friend Ted Breaux, with THC from Cannabis.

Use a graham cracker to stir and you've got yourself a drinkable key lime pie.

Surprisingly good, highly recommend. We finished it off with some vodka infused whipped cream on top and it was perfect.
