Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Brush each slice of bread on both sides with melted butter. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and place in the oven. Bake five to seven minutes or longer until bread is crisp and lightly browned.

  3. Step 3

    Rub each slice with a cut clove of garlic and serve warm.

Made this w olive oil and baked it longer 10-12 min. A small swipe of the raw garlic was plenty. Used the left over thyme olive oil from the baked goat cheese recipe and added salt.
