    Place strawberries and sugar in saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Add liqueur and keep warm until serving.

This is a nice simple recipe that can be easily whipped up if you need a sauce for dessert, or waffles in the morning (and you want to use up those ugly strawberries from the garden). I'd recommend cutting the sugar by a couple tablespoons if you're using strawberries from your own garden (maybe a 1/4c instead of 1/3c). I used triple sec for the fruit liqueur because it's what I had on hand.
