Ripe watermelons can be eaten any way at any time of day, but watermelon juice with lots of basil and lime juice blended in is terrific in the morning. It is so very simple to make and captures summertime in a glass.

This is great but could use the juice of a whole lime. A dollop of honey takes it over the top. If you don't have basil use fresh mint instead.

You could probably save in the fridge for a day or two at most. Sadly, this wouldn't freeze well.

Refreshing. I did add a whole lime. Great juice to grab and go when you are in the mood for watermelon but don’t have the time to sit and eat a slice.

Added juice of whole lime, strawberries, and chia seeds. Would go well for serving those both partaking and abstaining. Add or serve virgin, all will be pleased.

Delicious. I like to add mint with the basil and blend with ice in a blender on a really hot day.

Blended watermelon juice this time of year is fabulous. August/September. Added a pinch of good sea salt and tbsp if raw honey.
