I was thinking of peaches and almonds when I began working on this granola-thickened smoothie, but it ended up tasting more like peach ice cream with a hint of vanilla.

Where do you get rose geranium syrup?

Delicious even without the syrup. An easy use for fresh peaches.

thaw the peaches

This is a great post-wisdom teeth extraction recipe!!

Used fresh peaches at peak of ripeness and we don’t have the syrup, so left that out as well. The almond flavoring overwhelmed the peach flavor. We will try it without that ingredient next time.

Made this in a pinch to use up some damaged peaches from our u-pick haul, so I omitted the granola and used corn syrup instead of the rose geranium syrup (though that sounds great as well). It was delicious - light, refreshing, and perfectly peach flavored, with the almond enhancing the peach.
