Ingredients
Yield:3 servings
- 210- ounce containers brussels sprouts, washed and trimmed
- 6tablespoons chicken stock or broth
- 2teaspoons sugar
- 4tablespoons lemon juice
- 2tablespoons canned roasted red peppers, rinsed, drained and chopped
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
- Step 1
Combine brussels sprouts with chicken stock, sugar and lemon juice, and bring to boil, covered.
- Step 2
Cook until sprouts are tender, about 10 minutes.
- Step 3
Stir in red peppers and season with black pepper.
