Ingredients
Yield:2 servings
- 2 or 3large ripe tomatoes (or more if you wish)
- A few sprigs fresh oregano to yield 2 teaspoons
- 1teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
Preparation
- Step 1
Wash and trim tomatoes and cut into thick slices.
- Step 2
Wash and remove the leaves from the oregano, and sprinkle over tomato slices. Drizzle with oil, and serve.

A slight sprinkle of salt, after the tomatoes are dressed, let them rest for about a half hour so the juices flow and can be soaked up with a nice hunk of good crusty bread. Yum!
