This recipe makes the rice very moist and flavorful. It is the perfect consistency.

This is the perfect rice!!!!

I usually add a couple sprigs of thyme along with the bay leaf. Left over rice freezes well and adding a little water before microwaving keeps it moist.

This has been our go-to recipe for decades. It is always delicious. We sometimes substitute white wine for some of the broth and always make it with vegetarian "chicken" broth.
