Ingredients
Yield:1⅓ cups
- 8leafy stems cilantro
- 1medium green bell pepper
- 1clove garlic, crushed
- 1medium onion, coarsely chopped
- ¼pound aji dulce, halved with inner seeds removed (see note)
- 6whole leaves recao, chopped (see note)
- 1tablespoon vegetable or olive oil
Preparation
- Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and puree until smooth.
Tip
- Aji dulce are small, sweet chili peppers. Recao is a green herb with a long oval leaf. Both may be found in bodegas and Asian markets.
