Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Arrange the berries in one layer in an 8-cup gratin dish.

  3. Step 3

    Mix the graham cracker crumbs, granola and brown sugar together in a small bowl. Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the berries.

  4. Step 4

    Bake for 30 minutes, until the berries are soft and most of their moisture has been absorbed.

  5. Step 5

    Serve lukewarm as is or with plain yogurt or sour cream.

Nice, simple delicious dessert which we dutifully tried at room temp, but the next day had cold and...oh...much better! (With thinly sliced brownie) You could substitute 1/2 cup ground walnuts for the granola. I put in a bit more graham crackers than called for and could balance that against ground nuts next time. I used Red Mill granola and whirled it together with crackers. Reasonably low-calorie dessert!

what can you substitute for the granola?

Delicious. I added raspberries and served with a small pour of heavy cream. Too good!
