Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Mix flour and milk and add the eggs. It does not matter if the mixture is slightly lumpy.

  3. Step 3

    Using 12-inch cast-iron skillet or fireproof pan, heat butter and pour in batter. Bake for 20 minutes. When puffed and brown, sprinkle with nutmeg and powdered sugar, and bake for one minute more. Squeeze lemon juice on pancake. Serve with maple syrup, apple butter or jelly.
