I never would have thought to add gin to this, but it was delicious! The gin and bitters added some welcome complexity.

This is the best version of a Cuba Libre I’ve ever had. I’ve never included gin in a Cuba Libre before and have always just had it has rum, coke, and lime. The addition of gin and 2 dashes of aromatic bitters made this already great drink an exceptional one.

I've never heard of anyone ever having gin in their Cuba Libre. I'm sure some purists might object (I'm not one of them). When did gin come into the equation?
