Ingredients

Yield:About 1¾ cups
  • 1cup fresh mayonnaise
  • ¼cup heavy cream
  • 3tablespoons bottled chili sauce or ketchup
  • ¼cup finely chopped green peppers
  • ¼cup finely chopped scallions or green onions, green part and all
  • 2tablespoons finely chopped pimento-stuffed green olives
  • 2teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt to taste if desired
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Put mayonnaise in mixing bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Add the cream, chili sauce, peppers, scallions, green olives, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Blend well.

  3. Step 3

    Serve with cold crab or other cold seafood.

I add 1 Tbsp horseradish sauce to my dressing.

This is a great Louis dressing recipe! Also super on Reuben sandwiches. So much better than store bought thousand island!
