  • ½cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2cloves garlic, pushed through garlic press
  • teaspoons salt
  • ½teaspoon paprika
  • ¼teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼cup chopped flat-leaf parsley

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    If tahini paste has separated, stir.

  2. Step 2

    Put tahini in large bowl. Add one cup water in slow stream, stirring constantly with wooden spoon. Add lemon juice and garlic and stir until sauce is smooth.

  3. Step 3

    Add salt, paprika and pepper. Stir. Before serving, sprinkle with parsley.

This tastes very grainy and the main flavor is the tahini itself. I'd never have made it if I thought it would taste like this.....certainly nothing like ranch dressing.
